We wanted to advertise the Big Learning workshop at NIPS.
This workshop is not related to anyone in the MSD team, but knowing some of the organizers, it is bound to be highly interesting. If you have some results on the Million Song Dataset, it could be a good place to show it to researchers outside the MIR field. Plus, great conference and great locations, PhD students, here is your chance to get a nice trip from your advisor ;) Note that the deadline is in less than a month.
More generally, we still think the MSD is a good tool to get exposure for MIR in the "pure" machine learning community. Being at this workshop would serve the same purpose.
